Location: Bromsgrove
Salary: -60,000 - -75,000 + Car Allowance + Profit Share Scheme
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Arrangement: Office Based

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to join a well-established and growing electrical contractor based in Bromsgrove.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded estimator to play a key role in securing and delivering high-value commercial projects across a range of sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive tenders, working closely with clients, suppliers, and the wider project delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Producing accurate cost plans and tender adjudications
• Identifying value engineering opportunities where appropriate
• Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout the tender process
• Supporting business growth through successful bid and tender delivery
• Managing multiple tenders simultaneously and meeting strict deadlines

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years'' estimating experience within the electrical contracting sector
• Proven experience pricing commercial design-and-build projects
• Electrical qualification such as BTEC ONC, City & Guilds Level 3, or equivalent
• 18th Edition qualified
• Experience producing tenders for projects incorporating both HV and LV electrical systems
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook
• Experience using estimating software such as Cypher or equivalent packages
