Electrical Estimator

Leading M&E contractor, specialising in commercial fit-out projects, requires an Electrical Estimator with previous low voltage (LV) / building services experience. This is a permanent position, based in London and available on a hybrid basis.

The role:

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates, quotes and tenders
• Analyse and understand engineering drawings and specifications in order to fully assess project requirements
• Manage pricing with subcontractors and suppliers, seeking out opportunities for value engineering
• Work closely with colleagues in pre-construction and construction to support tenders
• Manage an estimating database to ensure bids and associated documentation are regularly updated and accessible
• Input take-offs and quantities

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator in the LV / M&E / building services industry
• Qualification in Electrical Engineering
• Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software, such as Candy
• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills
