Electrical Engineering roles (SENIOR/PRINCIPAL) at Mott MacDonald. Provide technical solutions and project leadership in the production of electrical designs for major electrical and multi-disciplinary infrastructure works.Contribute to bids and proposals, and support project planning, delivery, and execution to a high standard.Manage engineering projects and deliverables to meet client expectations and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.Support and develop junior staff and graduates.Lead site surveys and ensure project deliverables and scope are clear.Understand procurement and contract awards such as NEC PSC.Design LV and MV networks (up to 33kV), including cable sizing, routing, termination, substation layouts, equipment specifications, and protection schemes.Assess and advise on resilience issues, network configuration, operations scenarios, and DNO standards.Coordinate across project disciplines and contribute to bid procedures and internal governance.Use MS Office and related design tools effectively.Candidate Specification

Chartered or professionally qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.Proven skills and experience in the sectors mentioned, with focus on LV to 11kV/33kV installations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing specifications and reports.Ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams internal and external.Ability to travel in the UK and overseas if required.Initiative, self-motivation, and the confidence to make decisions.Benefits and Environment
