They play an active role in the design and delivery of learning and assessment activities, supporting learners to successfully achieve their qualifications, including full Apprenticeship standards. Assessors work closely with employers and are instrumental in developing learners, helping them achieve their goals and motivating them to overcome any barriers to progress. Role Responsibilities: To develop, manage and maintain good relationships with external partners, local employers and appropriate agencies to recruit learners. To provide information, advice and guidance to learners and employers to promote learning and timely achievement of the agreed learning aims and SMART objectives. Assessment of knowledge, skills and behaviours of a set apprenticeship caseload. Where required support the assessment of commercial NVQ qualifications.
