Electrical Engineer/EC&I Engineer

We have 2 new opportunities for an Electrical Engineer and an EC&I Engineer EC(Controls and Instrumentation bias) with our Client in the Nuclear Industry.
The Electrical Engineer will support one of the projects SNM-AP.
Production of electrical engineering deliverables in accordance with lead electrical engineers requirements.
Deliver a safe fit for purpose, fully integrated and operable engineering solution that meets product requirements.
Produce engineering deliverables that provide a fit for purpose integrated solution which meets specified requirements, including validation and verification, and that preserve the engineering intent and align with the plant configuration as appropriate.
Identify any changes to engineering and inform the wider team, in particular the Responsible Engineer and the Project Engineering Manager.
Identify any functional technical, safety and engineering risks and inform the Responsible Engineer
Ensure that the engineering solution is able to be manufactured, constructed, commissioned, handed over, put into operation, maintained, and decommissioned.
Develop and carry out work in line with the Sellafield Project Fundamentals.
Ensure solutions meet all discipline related legal requirements including CDM, safety, including the application of Engineering Design Safety Principles, security, environmental and Sellafield Site Licence conditions, and that deliverables and solutions generated are adequately underpinned.
Ensure understanding and application of relevant legislation including SL and project specific policies, procedures, and standards.
Support the Responsible Engineer in derivation of the requirements and capabilities for Areas, Systems and Products along with the associated conditions, constraints and validation.
Support the Responsible Engineer in the definition and execution of product verification activities.
Support in the development and updating of cost and time estimates for delivery of the engineering solution where required.
Support the Responsible Engineer by contributing to the production of quality plans and ensure engineering solutions are delivered accordingly.
Collaborate in the identification and selection of appropriate standards and practices for use.
Promote and incorporate good practice and the capture, sharing and utilisation of LFE across the specific team and the engineering business, including ensuring subject matter experts are appropriately and adequately engaged in a timely manner.
Essential:
Qualified Electrical Engineer – with a controls and instrumentation bias
Relevant experience, this would typically be at least 4 years in relevant project design office, is required to fully perform the role.
Ability to work in a team environment and will be required to work form the Hinton House office for a minimum of 3 days a week fully embedded with the team
Preferred:
Professionally qualified (e.g Chartered) Engineer
Experience in contracting environment
