Electrical Engineer

To support this growth, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team playing a key role in the safe, efficient, and future-focused operation of critical HV and LV systems across the site. Purpose of the Role You will take the lead in planning, developing, commissioning, and maintaining high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems across the facility. Working closely with the Operations and Maintenance team, you''ll ensure equipment is safe, compliant, and operating at optimum performance, taking a hands-on approach to fault finding, diagnostics, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Electrical Safety and Compliance Ensure electrical and instrumentation safety standards are upheld across the site. Manage and control HV and LV isolation procedures in line with legislation. Maintain compliance with the Electricity at Work Act, Health and Safety at Work Act and DSEAR regulations. Maintenance and Technical Support Lead both planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Carry out HV isolations and support system switching. Identify root causes of equipment issues and drive improvements to enhance reliability. Support the upkeep and development of DCS, PLC and MCERTS-related systems.
