ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER BUILDING SERVICES Location: Manchester HybridSalary: £45k + Excellent BenefitsWorking Pattern: Hybrid, typically 3 days per week in the studio We are supporting an award-winning engineering consultancy in their search for an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing Building Services MEP team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with experience in Building Services / MEP design to work across a varied portfolio of UK projects. These include residential, education, commercial development, leisure, regeneration and net-zero/low-carbon schemes, working alongside multidisciplinary engineering and design teams. The Role: As Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for: Electrical Building Services Design Providing electrical engineering design, analysis, calculations and drawing input across a variety of building projects. Electrical Systems Supporting the design and analysis of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and communication systems in accordance with relevant standards. Technical Calculations Using industry-standard analysis and calculation software to support technically robust designs. Feasibility and Risk Conducting feasibility studies, cost estimates and risk assessments for proposed engineering solutions. Multidisciplinary Coordination Working closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors and other engineering disciplines to develop fully coordinated designs. ..... full job details .....
