Electrical Engineer Location: Smethwick Shift Pattern: 2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Days Off (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am) Job Type: Full Time The Opportunity We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a well-established engineering team based at a large healthcare facility in Smethwick. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a critical environment, delivering planned and reactive maintenance while developing your technical skills within a supportive and professional team. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks Diagnose faults and carry out electrical repairs efficiently and safely Respond to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests Monitor and respond to BMS alerts and system alarms Maintain and repair electrical building services systems Work on emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, nurse call systems and general electrical installations Ensure compliance with health and safety and statutory regulations Support the achievement of Competent Person and Authorised Person status through training and development Complete maintenance documentation and reports accurately Requirements City and Guilds Level 2 and 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) AM2 qualification 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Previous experience within a maintenance or building services environment Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to pass a DBS check Desirable: Previous experience within a ..... full job details .....
