Electrical Engineer

Proactive Personnel Wolverhampton are looking for an Electrical Engineer on a temp to perm basis for our client in Willenhall, Wolverhampton 

Length of Assignment: 12 week temp to perm role leading onto a permanent position 

Working hours are Monday -Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:00 am – 2:00pm

Duties:

An exciting opportunity for an electrical engineer with proven diagnostic skills, able to fault find to component level, and the ability to rework PCBs with both through hole and surface mount components using hot air rework tools and soldering irons.

Computer literacy, the ability to read schematic drawings, experience using multi-meters, the use of test software and other test equipment, programming and testing of PCB's are preferable requirements.

You will be a key member of the Quality team, taking direction from the quality manager, overseeing all quality metrics and continuous improvement projects, and dealing with customer non-conformances, internal audits, and other quality related activities. Knowledge of ISO9001 is also required.
