Job Title: Electrical EngineerContract Type: Inside IR35Hours: 35 per weekLocation: London (hybrid/roaming, approx. two days onsite)OverviewA public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to deliver life cycle replacement and refurbishment projects across residential housing stock. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for electrical works, including design, specification, surveys, compliance, contract administration and stakeholder liaison.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and specify new and replacement electrical systemsProduce feasibility studies, condition surveys and technical reportsManage multiple projects at different stages, ensuring delivery to time, cost and qualityOversee contractor and consultant performance, including tender review and variationsAdminister contracts and monitor budgets, procurement and complianceLiaise with stakeholders, including residents, client teams and external agenciesConduct site inspections, testing, commissioning and sign-offContribute to policy development and value engineeringManage defect liability periods and lessons learnedProvide guidance to junior staff and technical colleagues where requiredEssential Skills and ExperienceDegree, HND or recognised professional qualification in Electrical or Building Services EngineeringOR substantial relevant project experienceProven background in refurbishment or capital projects (housing, public sector or consultancy)Strong understanding of British Standards, ..... full job details .....
