Electrical Engineer

SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Job Purpose To deliver electrical engineering solutions with a professionally managed level of risk, meeting allocated engineering responsibilities, product baselines and project-specific requirements. The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead allocated projects from an electrical engineering perspective, as well as supporting business development activities, delivering work to defined budgets, schedules and technical requirements. The role is varied and includes the design and development of LV and MV electrical systems, control systems, PLC and HMI programming, electrical panel design, plant and equipment layouts, instrumentation interfaces and associated technical documentation. The position would suit an experienced electrical engineer with a strong design background, preferably gained within power generation, energy, industrial automation, large rotating equipment or other complex engineering environments. Alternatively, the role would suit a specialist in PLC, HMI and industrial control systems looking to broaden their engineering responsibilities.
