Electrical Engineer - HVAP

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrical Engineer - HVAP-to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for an-Electrical Engineer - HVAP-who wants to work in a diverse role-where no two days are the same.

As the-Electrical Engineer - HVAP,-you will-provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The-Electrical Engineer - HVAP,-will be responsible for:

• Lead and coordinate shift engineering operations within a critical environment
• Monitor and manage plant performance via BMS and CAFM systems
• Ensure all PPMs, reactive tasks, and statutory compliance activities are completed within SLA
• Manage HVAP responsibilities including isolations, permits to work, and safe systems of work
• Oversee incident management, escalations, and emergency response procedures
• Maintain accurate shift logs, technical reports, and operational documentation
• Supervise contractors and engineering teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery
• Support energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide shift cover and operational support when required

To be successful for this Electrical Engineer - HVAP role you must have:

• NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification.

• Previous experience in a critical environment/data centre/high-profile commercial site
• HV Authorised Person (HVAP) status essential
• Strong understanding of critical M&E systems, BMS, and CAFM platforms
• Experience leading engineering teams in a shift environment
• Excellent knowledge of health & safety and statutory compliance
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
