      <description>Location: Cambridge | Salary: &amp;pound;37900 - &amp;pound;40900/annum | Type: Permanent | Electrical Maintenance Engineer    Location -  Cambridge   Hours -  Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm  Salary - up to -40,900  This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established engineering team Cambridgeshire.   Key Responsibilities    Carry out the operation and routine maintenance of all electrical distribution systems, including CHP feeds, emergency standby supplies and systems operating under statutory regulations.  Undertake installation works, equipment upgrades and building modifications.  Monitor and respond to alarms via the Building Management System (BMS)  Comply with statutory requirements, including Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and Installation Testing.  Ensure the effective operation of normal, emergency and back-up electrical supply systems, as well as the Fire Alarm system.  Assist in preparing O&amp;M budgets and cost estimates for minor works.  Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.  Liaise with specialist contractors servicing plant under your responsibility.
