• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and plant.
• Diagnose faults and undertake repairs across a variety of building services equipment.
• Conduct inspections, testing and maintenance of electrical infrastructure.
• Complete all work in accordance with statutory regulations, health & safety requirements and site procedures.
• Produce maintenance reports and ensure accurate completion of work records.
• Assist with contractor supervision and inductions when required.
• Support the Working Supervisor and deputise where necessary.
• Participate in the on-call rota and respond to out-of-hours requirements.

What you''ll need to succeed

• City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Previous experience within commercial building maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements.
• Understanding of HVAC systems and water treatment desirable.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• IOSH Working Safely or similar qualification advantageous.

• -45000 Salary Per Annual
• 25 Days annual leave plus Bank Holidays

• 1 in 3 on-call rota with -100 weekly standby payment
• x1.5 after normal working hours Monday to Friday and until 12:30pm Saturday & x2 after 1:00pm Saturday and all day Sunday
