Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Engineer Location: Blyth, Northumberland Contract: Permanent, Full Time Our client is a global engineering business with multiple sites in the North East. They are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team in Blyth. This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to work on highly specialised equipment, supporting the design, development, testing, commissioning, and ongoing improvement of advanced electrical systems used on complex global projects. The Role As an Electrical Engineer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include: Designing electrical systems, control panels, and power distribution solutions. Producing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Supporting PLC, HMI, and automation system integration. Carrying out electrical calculations, analysis, and component selection. Participating in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT). Providing technical support during manufacturing, installation, and service activities. Ensuring compliance with electrical standards, regulations, and best practices. About You To succeed as an Electrical Engineer, you will ideally have a strong background in electrical design within marine, offshore, manufacturing, industrial automation, or heavy engineering environments.
