Electrical Engineer - Data Centres Birmingham The Opportunity We''re looking for an Electrical Engineer to join a specialist team delivering complex data centre and mission-critical projects across the UK and Europe.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop their experience within a technically challenging sector. You''ll work alongside experienced engineers and project teams, contributing to projects from early-stage design through to construction, commissioning and completion.You''ll be exposed to a wide range of electrical systems across data centre environments, including critical power, resilient electrical distribution, standby generation, UPS systems and infrastructure supporting high-density computing and AI applications.What You''ll Be DoingSupport the delivery of electrical engineering designs across data centre and mission-critical projects.Develop designs from concept and feasibility through to detailed design and construction.Produce electrical calculations, drawings, specifications, schedules and technical reports.Assist with the design of LV distribution, UPS systems, standby generation, busbar systems and critical power infrastructure.Support the development and assessment of resilient electrical solutions, including N+1 and 2N configurations.Work with senior engineers to coordinate HV and MV requirements with utilities, contractors and specialist suppliers.Review technical information and contractor submissions, raising queries and ..... full job details .....
