Electrical Engineer

Location: Tunbridge Wells
Rate: £28.17 per hour

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a well-established Facilities Management provider delivering services across commercial properties.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified electrical engineer looking for a stable role within a supportive FM environment, carrying out a mix of reactive and planned maintenance works.

You will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems across commercial sites including offices, retail, and public sector buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) tasks

  • Attending and resolving reactive breakdowns

  • Fault finding on electrical systems

  • Maintenance of:

    • LV systems

    • Lighting & emergency lighting

    • Distribution boards & switchgear

    • Power systems

    • Basic HVAC controls (desirable)

  • Completing compliance paperwork and reports

About You
  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or equivalent

  • 18th Edition (BS7671)

  • Experience within Facilities Management / Commercial Maintenance

  • Strong fault-finding ability

Desirable:

  • 2391 / 2394/2395 Testing & Inspection

  • Experience in commercial FM environments
