Connect Appointments is recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join an established manufacturing business based in Dunfermline.Our client is a long-established, family-owned business with a strong reputation for quality and engineering excellence, investing significantly in staff training and on-site facilities above the industry average.What''s on offer?Full-time permanent position after a 3-month probationary periodMonday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm - early finish on Fridays 17.00 per hourOvertime and bonuses available33 days holiday per yearAs an Electrical Engineer, your duties will include:Installing and fault-finding 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systemsFitting lighting, marker lamps, beacons, reversing cameras, trackers and other ancillary equipmentReading and working from engineering drawings and wiring diagramsCarrying out vehicle and body electrical repairs and installations to a high standardEnsuring all work is completed safely and efficiently in line with quality standardsTo be considered as an Electrical Engineer, you will need:Experience in commercial vehicle body building and/or auto electricsStrong knowledge of 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systemsConfident use of workshop tools and equipmentGood problem-solving skills with strong attention to detailExperience with tail lifts, hydraulic systems or specialist commercial vehicle equipment is advantageousInterested in this Electrical Engineer role?
