Role: Electrical EngineerLocation: Derby, DE24 Contract: 3 Months Contract (with potential to become a permanent position) Hours: 37.5 hours per weekKey ResponsibilitiesOversee and support the delivery of electrical maintenance services across the academy sites.Ensure electrical works and maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.Carry out and oversee planned and reactive electrical maintenance as required.Ensure all works comply with relevant legislation, statutory requirements and health and safety procedures.Apply a strong working knowledge of BSth Edition electrical regulations.Monitor the quality and completion of electrical works and ensure issues are identified and resolved promptly.Support the management and coordination of contractors, colleagues and site activities where required.Maintain effective communication with colleagues, customers, contractors and other stakeholders.Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all times.Respond positively to operational issues and take a proactive approach to problem solving.Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.Help maintain a safe, compliant and well-managed working environment across the sites.Demonstrate a proactive "Can Do" attitude and encourage positive participation from team members.
