The role is delivering planned preventive maintenance, reactive repairs, statutory compliance and small works. Keeping electrical installations safe, compliant and and fully certified.- - Key responsibilities Carry out electrical PPM to SFG20 schedules, including distribution boards, switchgear, lighting, small power, containment and plant electrical supplies. Carry out emergency lighting testing and maintenance to BS 5266, including monthly functional and annual duration tests, and keep log books up to date. Diagnose and repair reactive electrical faults within contracted response times, including tripping circuits, lighting failures, power loss and faults on plant, pumps and fans. Complete remedial works arising from EICRs and other inspections, including C1, C2 and FI observations, prioritising safety-critical items (if qualified to do so) Provide electrical support to other disciplines, including isolations and electrical fault-finding on mechanical, HVAC and water plant.
