Electrical Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an-Electrical Engineer-on behalf of our client based in-Worksop. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-speed process environment, working independently to maintain production and minimise downtime.

The Role

You will be working on a-rotational 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, covering both days and nights. The role involves-lone working-on a fast-paced site, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and prioritising tasks to ensure continuous production.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance and fault-finding on a high-speed process site
• Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns, minimising downtime
• Ensure-Safe Working Procedures (SWPs)-are adhered to at all times, reporting any issues promptly to the Site Manager, Engineering Manager, and Compliance Manager
• Ensure the correct-PPE-is used at all times and notify the Engineering Manager of any requirements
• Maintain the highest standards of-housekeeping, promoting a clean-as-you-go culture
• Manage effective-shift handovers-to ensure continuity of production
• Communicate site issues and breakdowns clearly to incoming shifts and management
• Complete shift reports and email them to Engineering and Production Management at the end of each shift

About You

• Qualified Electrical Engineer (industrial/manufacturing background preferred)
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Safety-focused with a proactive approach to housekeeping and compliance
