11kV Electrical Design EngineerOur client, a leading player in the energy sector, is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their Low Carbon team on a permanent basis. This role focuses on substation, distribution, transmission, and energy projects, providing a unique opportunity to work on landmark projects and contribute to a sustainable future.Key Responsibilities:Leading and developing cost-effective engineering solutions to complex problems.Delivering projects at various stages of development including Feasibility Studies, Concept Designs, FEED Studies, Value Engineering, and Detailed Design.Preparing and developing Electrical deliverables such as Single Line Diagrams, cable calculations, cable block diagrams, plant layouts, cable routing, cable containment design, switchgear configurations, and producing bill of materials/quantities.Collaborating with equipment vendors to develop and evaluate equipment design packages.Assessing the condition, risk, opportunity, and need for intervention of electrical assets.Developing proposals and bids for the ECandI discipline and contributing to multi-disciplinary proposals.Job Requirements:Degree or similar qualification in Electrical Engineering with significant experience in electrical design, operation, maintenance, and testing.Chartered Engineer or working towards IEng/CEng and a member of a relevant Engineering Institute.Ability to take on a lead role in the development of Electrical deliverables and the assessment ..... full job details .....
