Profile of the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical/Electronics Maintenance Technician to join a dedicated asset care team supporting advanced test equipment used in high-precision engineering. In this role, you will help maintain and fault-find specialist rigs that ensure the quality and performance of safety-critical products. This is a hands-on position where your skills will directly contribute to minimising downtime and keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on electrical and electronic test equipment.
- Assist with basic fault-finding and supervised repairs on bespoke test rigs.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks to keep systems operational.
- Work with equipment involving switching systems, harnesses, power supplies, and environmental test systems.
- Complete all maintenance documentation in line with company procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-focused work environment.
Key Experience Required
- Hands-on experience with electrical/electronic equipment in a technical or industrial setting.
- Basic knowledge of electrical principles and safety procedures.
- Skilled in using hand tools, multimeters, and basic diagnostic equipment.
- Able to read and interpret simple wiring diagrams.
- Strong commitment to teamwork, safety, and quality.
- Willingness to learn from senior engineers and follow structured procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: ONC / Level 3 Diploma / relevant apprenticeship in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Desirable: HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
