MERITUS are recruiting for an Electrical-Electronic Architect to join our client within the national security industry on an initial 6 month contract from their major site in Stevenage. The business have been frequently named as one of the best places to work over the last decade and are currently expanding at an incredibly exciting speed.ELECTRICAL-ELECTRONIC ARCHITECT - INSIDE IR35 - £65-£85 PER HOUR - STEVENAGE - 6 months - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS - 60% ONSITEYou will be responsible for the electrical architecture and requirements for systems with duties including:Specifying/determiningsystem electrical requirementsinterface definitions and characteristics between subsystems/equipmentpower architecture, including power budget and power profiles data communication and processing architecturerequirements for EMC, bonding, grounding and screeningsignal safety, including routing of safety related signals Supporting test and fault-finding activities during compatibility checks, risk reduction, system proving/qualification and integrationReviewing and authoring reports, guidelines and processesDesign assessments and analysisWorking to defence/industry standardsAttending and supporting design reviewsAlternatively, acting as the Equipment Manager (RMO) for specific electrical/electronic equipment(s) that are part of a missile or launcher system you will:Project manage the equipment(s) on behalf of the project during development, qualification and manufactureOwn the ..... full job details .....
