This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to lead complex engineering programmes and play a key role in the development of innovative, industry-leading products.The RoleAs Electrical Design Manager, you will lead the electrical engineering function, driving technical excellence, effective project delivery and continuous improvement across new and existing product platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering Leadership and Project DeliveryLead and develop the electrical engineering team responsible for the design of ground support equipmentManage engineering projects from concept through detailed design, validation and release to productionPlan and allocate engineering resources across multiple concurrent projectsEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned with budgetary targetsProvide technical leadership and decision-making on complex engineering challengesSupport new product development and product enhancement initiativesConduct performance reviews, career development planning and support talent developmentFoster a culture of accountability, technical excellence and continuous improvementEnsure compliance with customer specifications and applicable standards, including EN12312, EN1915 and Machinery Directive 2006/42/ECApprove electrical designs, drawings, calculations, specifications and technical documentationOversee the Engineering ..... full job details .....
