Electrical Engineering Lead - ContractLocation: Chichester (4 days per week onsite)Contract: 6 MonthsRate: Competitive (Outside IR35 status to be confirmed)The OpportunityWe''re supporting a well-established engineering organisation in the search for an experienced Electrical Engineering Lead to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Electrical Design and Commissioning team while providing technical oversight across a range of engineering projects. The successful candidate will combine strong leadership skills with extensive electrical design expertise and be comfortable supporting projects through design, testing, factory acceptance, and commissioning.The position is primarily office-based, with 4 days per week onsite in Chichester, alongside occasional travel to customer sites to support project delivery, inspections, and commissioning activities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage and support the Electrical Design and Commissioning team, providing technical guidance and day-to-day leadership.Oversee the electrical design and commissioning elements of multiple engineering projects.Review and approve electrical designs to ensure compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.Support the development of project plans, technical documentation, and procurement activities.Review and specify appropriate electrical and instrumentation ..... full job details .....
