Contract Electrical Design and Estimating Engineer Construction and Commercial Fit-Out Hybrid Working Contract The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design and Estimating Engineer to support a well-established construction and commercial fit-out contractor on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded building services specialist with a strong background in electrical design, pre-construction and estimating, ideally within the commercial fit-out, refurbishment and construction sectors. Working on a hybrid basis, you will play a key role in supporting projects from initial tender enquiry and feasibility through to detailed cost planning, design development and tender submission. You will work closely with the pre-construction, commercial and project delivery teams to ensure proposals are technically robust, commercially competitive and aligned with client requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates for commercial fit-out, refurbishment and construction projects. Review tender documentation, drawings, specifications and employers requirements to establish project scope and identify potential risks or omissions. Develop electrical design solutions and provide technical input throughout the pre-construction and tender stages.
