This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging, low-volume, high-value machinery where you''ll take ownership of designs from concept through to production.Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you''ll design sophisticated electrical systems for precision automation equipment while contributing to the development of next-generation products used by global manufacturers.The RoleYou''ll be responsible for the electrical design of complex capital equipment, producing high-quality schematics, control panel designs and documentation while ensuring compliance with relevant electrical safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and single-line diagrams using EPlan Electric P8.Design control panels, power distribution systems, motion control panels and wiring harnesses.Perform electrical calculations including power/load analysis, component selection and safety assessments.Ensure designs comply with CE/UKCA requirements and relevant industry standards.Manage design documentation, BOMs and configuration control.Support prototype builds, ..... full job details .....
