Electrical Design Engineer / Controls EngineerAre you an Electrical Design Engineer with experience designing control systems, panels or electrical systems within an industrial engineering environment?We are working with a well-established engineering business specialising in the design and manufacture of bespoke automation and robotic solutions. The company delivers technically complex equipment across a range of industries including automotive, medical, plastics and packaging.You do not need previous special purpose machinery experience to be considered. Candidates from adjacent electrical design environments such as industrial automation, machinery, manufacturing equipment, packaging, material handling, process equipment or systems integration would all be of interest.The RoleResponsibilities will include:Producing detailed electrical schematics and circuit diagrams using EPLANDesigning control panels and electrical control systemsCreating bills of materials and selecting appropriate electrical componentsDesigning electrical and safety systems in line with relevant standardsSupporting the build and wiring of control panels and equipmentWorking closely with electrical technicians during build and testingFault-finding and troubleshooting electrical and safety systemsSupporting installation and commissioning when requiredMaking modifications and improvements to existing electrical systemsWorking alongside mechanical, electrical and controls engineers to deliver complete ..... full job details .....
