They are expanding their team and are looking for talented Electrical Design Engineers to join their dynamic and growing business.The Role: My client is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to focus on designing large-scale solar systems, including solar farms and solar installations for commercial and industrial properties. The successful candidate will create innovative, efficient, and safe electrical designs that meet client requirements and comply with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Design electrical systems for large-scale solar installations, solar farms, and commercial/industrial rooftop systems.Produce detailed drawings, layouts, schematics, and specifications using industry-standard design software.Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and clients to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and compliant with regulations.Carry out load calculations, short-circuit studies, and protection coordination for solar systems.Support project delivery teams with technical guidance during installation and commissioning.Ensure all designs meet health and safety standards and adhere to UK electrical regulations.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ..... full job details .....
