Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Fenton, ST4 Job Type: Permanent Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30 Friday: 07:30 - 11:00 Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 (Dependent on Experience) We are recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative electrical systems within a technically advanced manufacturing environment, contributing to the design and development of bespoke engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and produce accurate electrical schematics using SolidWorks Electrical. Create detailed wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and electrical system drawings. Develop and maintain electrical design documentation in line with company and industry standards. Design electrical control systems and support the development of new and existing products. Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, production teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and customer specifications. Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical input throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements Previous experience in an Electrical Design Engineer role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
