Salary:40,000 - -45,000 (Dependent on Experience)
We are recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for an experienced-Electrical Design Engineer-to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative electrical systems within a technically advanced manufacturing environment, contributing to the design and development of bespoke engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce accurate electrical schematics using SolidWorks Electrical.
- Create detailed wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and electrical system drawings.
- Develop and maintain electrical design documentation in line with company and industry standards.
- Design electrical control systems and support the development of new and existing products.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, production teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and customer specifications.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical input throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an Electrical Design Engineer role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Proficient in SolidWorks Electrical for creating electrical schematics and drawings.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, control systems, and industry standards.
- Experience designing electrical systems, wiring layouts, and control panels.
- Excellent problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Desirable
- HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Must have previous experience working with SolidWorks.
- Experience with PLC-controlled systems or industrial automation.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical regulations and standards.
- Experience working with bespoke machinery or special-purpose equipment.
