The Electrical Design Engineer will take technical lead responsibility on specific projects as identified by the Technical Director / Controls System Manager. Role Responsibilities  – Electrical Design Engineer   Design electrical systems for machinery in the lead-acid battery industry, producing schematics, cabinet layouts, BOMs, termination lists, and full technical documentation. Collaborate with mechanical, software, operations, and production teams to ensure designs meet customer specifications and are optimised for manufacture. Select electrical components considering safety, CE compliance, standardisation, cost, and availability, while conducting risk assessments as needed. Present electrical designs at reviews, maintain accurate design files, manage design changes, and ensure outputs integrate with all engineering disciplines.
