As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical design and development of specialist machinery and equipment. Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities: - Research and create electrical design concepts, schematics and drawings - Make recommendations regarding design specifications to ensure equipment and processes match client requirements - Produce all supporting documentation - Provide in-house hands-on support with the build, commissioning and testing of equipment - Support electrical fault-finding and problem-solving during equipment build, testing and commissioning - Maintain technical expertise and knowledge of emerging technologies, processes and techniques Electrical Design Engineer Requirements: - Relevant electrical engineering qualification such as a degree, HNC, HND or apprenticeship, or equivalent practical experience - Experience designing electrical systems for industrial machinery, process equipment or automated equipment - Experience using AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical design software - Experience working on engineering design projects from concept through to build, testing and production - Understanding of industrial control systems, electrical components, sensors and instrumentation - Ability to ..... full job details .....
