      <description>Location: Cheshire | Salary: &amp;pound;65000 - &amp;pound;75000/annum | Type: Permanent | Electrical Design Engineer   Permanent   Hybrid/Office based (with occasional UK site visits)   -60,000 - -75,000 per annum   Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with experience delivering utility-scale Solar, BESS or other renewable energy projects? If so, please read on...   Essential skillset:    Proven experience designing electrical systems for utility-scale Solar, BESS or renewable energy projects  Strong understanding of LV and MV electrical distribution systems  Experience producing single line diagrams (SLDs), protection schematics, cable schedules and electrical layouts  Knowledge of G99 grid connection requirements and DNO design standards  Experience carrying out electrical calculations, including cable sizing, voltage drop and protection coordination  Familiarity with power system studies such as load flow, short circuit and protection studies   Experience liaising with DNOs, ICPs, EPC contractors and clients throughout the design and approval process  Proficient in AutoCAD and electrical design software  Full UK driving licence and willingness to undertake occasional UK site visits &lt;/ul</description>
