Role & Responsibilities of an Electrical Design Engineer: Conducted control panel layouts, schematic drawings, component & cable specification Create electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic diagrams using EPlan Pro Panel software Work closely with mechanical design, projects & software teams PLC / HMi selection in line with the software department Provide technical support and advice to customers and wider teams Work with low voltage, single & 3-phase AC systems (110V - 600V) Spec and source components and other hardware Office based role, with occasional travel to customers sites, sometime overseas Work to appropriate legislation standards - electrical safety, BS7671, ISO13489 Knowledge, Skills & Experience needed to be an Electrical Design Engineer: Must electrical CAD experience using EPlan Pro Panel software HNC / HND quali...
