Electrical Design Engineer

Due to continued growth and a strong order book, an opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding engineering team.The RoleWorking as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for the design and development of electrical control systems for a range of specialist machinery and automation projects.Key responsibilities will include:Designing electrical schematics, control panels and machine wiring layoutsProducing electrical drawings, BOMs and technical documentationSelecting electrical components including PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors and instrumentationSupporting machine builds, testing and commissioning activitiesCollaborating with mechanical, manufacturing and software engineering teamsEnsuring designs comply with relevant industry standards and safety requirementsAssisting with troubleshooting, continuous improvement and customer support activitiesWhat You''ll NeedDegree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related disciplineExperience producing electrical designs for machinery, equipment or industrial systemsKnowledge of PLCs, drives, control panels and industrial ..... full job details .....
