The successful Electrical Design Engineer will work on a range of high profile projects, responsible for designing and reviewing electrical systems, including general power and lighting, boiler plants, chillers, circulation pumps, inverters and BMS control equipment. The role: Develop project-specific BMS control panel drawings and operating descriptions aligned to selected plant. Produce electrical schematics, layouts and fabrication drawings. Coordinate with Mechanical, HVAC and wider MEP teams to integrate power distribution, automation, space, weight and access requirements. Ensure designs comply with relevant health, safety and quality standards. Attend project design and coordination meetings, providing technical input and design updates. Work with contracts managers and commissioning teams to support commissioning Liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors and relevant authorities.
