Electrical Design Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer - Instrumentation & Controls Bias

Location: Risley, Cheshire (3 days per week on-site)
Contract Type: Secondment | Start Date: Mid-September | Duration: TBC
Rate: Competitive (DOE)

The Role:
We''re seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong background in instrumentation and controls to join a specialist engineering team. You''ll be involved in the design of building services, control systems, HVAC systems, and more, working on complex projects within the nuclear sector.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• 5+ years'' experience as an Electrical Design Engineer.

• Proven background in the nuclear industry.

• Expertise in:

  • Building services design

  • Control systems

  • HVAC systems

  • Fire detection systems

  • Panel design

• Proficiency with: AutoCAD, AMTECH, Dialux, PDMS / Aveva 3D.

• Ability to work 3 days per week in Hinton House (Risley).

• Security clearance: BPSS/SC required (DV if requested).

Qualifications:

• Electrical Design Engineer qualification (Chartered preferred).
