Electrical Design Engineer - Eplan

£35k - £45k + Pension + Healthcare + Overtime + Gym Discount

Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:

• Liaise with shop floor electricians, fitters, lean manufacturing team, QC department related to process improvements, design & safety

• Liaise with software engineers on improvements & assist with implementation

• Recommend new technologies to improve efficiency

• Producing engineering designs & testing documentation

• Infrequent travel to customer or supplier

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:

• Ideally HNC qualified in a relevant discipline

• Experience of any electrical CAD package would considered i.e. AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical & Promis-e etc – training on EPlan available

• Methodical & accurate, with excellent communication & problem solving skills

• Full training available for the EPlan design package

The role is commutable from within and around the following locations: York, Hull and Scarborough.
