Electrical Design Engineer

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a building services consultancy, in a contract position outside IR35. You will be required to work on a hybrid basis (3 days a week) in our clients London office. This is a great opportunity to work on exciting commercial projects.

-Competitive hourly rate ranging from -3742 (depending on experience).

-Hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

-Designing electrical systems to meet project needs and standards.

-Create technical drawings, specifications, and calculations for systems.

-Work alongside other engineers to integrate systems with building designs.

-Communicate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet deadlines.

-Ensure compliance with regulations and sustainability standards.

-Help prepare project cost estimates, schedules, and resources.

What we are looking for:

-A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

-Experience in electrical design on commercial projects.

-Strong knowledge of electrical systems (lighting, power, distribution).

-Extensive experience with design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).

-Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

-Familiarity with relevant building regulations, standards, and sustainability practices.
