Electrical Design Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Hours: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
Location: Nailsworth, Stroud

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our client, a specialist and growing engineering company, to assist with the production of new designs as well as modifying and updating existing designs by producing accurate technical drawings.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with a global reputation that provides services to the aircraft industry. The successful candidate will undertake design work on contracts based on analysis of specifications, producing accurate drawings, and liaising with production, purchasing, and sales where necessary.

• Knowledge of CAD

• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review and modify drawings

• Team management – overseeing a team of electricians

• Good customer service skills, as the role can be customer-facing

• A solid technical understanding of the items being designed and their performance

• Knowledge of resistors, diodes, and relays

• PLC knowledge (not essential)

• R&D experience

• Pension scheme

• 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays
