Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:

• Design and draw electrical control circuits (to relevant British & European regulations) on an electrical CAD package.
• Development of electrical drawings from new sheet through to red line updates of electrical drawings
• Project management of all aspects of machine electrical design
• Liaison with customers (internal and external) and suppliers
• Select components & cables, taking into account all circuit and environmental conditions
• Adherence to internal and regulatory electrical drawing system and standards
• Contributes ideas / innovation for continuous improvement on machine design

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:

• HNC/D or Degree Qualified in Electrical Engineering
• 5-10 years’ experience in an engineering / design office
• Experience in design of electrical circuits and control panels
• Experienced in the use of an Electrical CAD package
• Knowledge of control panel component & cabling selection
• Knowledge of relevant British and European EN Regulations
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with a desire to achieve high standards

Located in Manchester, this role would be commutable from Bury, Rawtenstall, Rochdale & Bolton.
