Electrical Design Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established London-based Building Services consultancy, working across a varied portfolio of hotels, hospitals, commercial developments and schools.

The business is particularly keen to speak with Intermediate-level Electrical Design Engineers looking to develop their technical experience across a diverse range of projects, with a salary of up to -45,000 available depending on experience.

The position will initially be office-based five days per week, moving to a flexible hybrid arrangement once you''re established within the team.

The Role

You''ll be involved in:

• Supporting the electrical design of Building Services projects
• Producing technical drawings, calculations and design information
• Working across hotels, healthcare, commercial and education schemes
• Developing electrical systems through different stages of design
• Coordinating with mechanical engineers and other disciplines
• Supporting the preparation of specifications and project documentation
• Working closely with senior engineers and wider project teams
• Contributing to projects from design development through to technical delivery

What They''re Looking For

• Previous electrical Building Services design experience
• Experience working within a consultancy environment
• Good understanding of electrical systems and design principles
• Ability to produce accurate technical information
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work from the London office during the initial 2-3 months

Experience across hotels, hospitals, commercial developments or schools would be highly beneficial.
