Electrical Design Engineer

Our client is a successful and fast-growing-Facilities Management and MEP Projects-company operating across the UK. With a strong track record in delivering Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects ranging in value from -1 million to -10 million, they offer innovative, high-quality solutions to clients in the industrial, commercial, and educational sectors.

As part of their continued growth, our client are now seeking an experienced-Electrical Design Engineer-to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background within the construction industry, specifically with a strong electrical bias.

Role information:

Salary - Up to -45,000 per annum

Working hours - Monday to Friday (8am-5pm)

Working location - Hybrid Role with a mix of Telford Office & Home working permitted

The successful candidate will have the relevant experience and qualifications listed below:

• Electrical Engineering Qualifications
• Electrical Design Qualification
• Experience using AutoCAD (REVIT would be beneficial)
• Experience in using Electrical Design Software (Trimble, ElectricalOM etc.)
• Experience in carrying out Electrical Design within the construction industry

• In-depth electrical expertise

• Effective communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to organise your time and be self-motivated
• A Positive attitude and Team Player
• A thorough understanding of relevant regulations and standards
• Understanding of Design Development process in Construction (RIBA Stages)
