Electrical Design Engineerc£55k + 6% Pension, x4 Life Assurance, Simplyhealth Plan, Profit Share Employee Assistance ProgrammeEarly Friday FinishWorcestershireRef: 25715Are you an Electrical Design Engineer looking to work on complex electrical systems within a global engineering environment?Join a global leader in fluid-flow technology, supporting the design and delivery of electrical systems for modular HVAC, packaged plant rooms and capital equipment. You ll produce safe, compliant and cost-effective electrical designs, working closely with mechanical, controls and manufacturing teams throughout the project lifecycle.The Role Produce electrical designs in line with company procedures and project requirements.Carry out supply, load, earthing and cable sizing assessments.Prepare load schedules, cable calculations and protective device coordination studies.Produce Single Line Diagrams, cable schedules, block cable diagrams and earthing/bonding schematics.Use Trimble ProDesign or equivalent for electrical calculations and design studies.Produce switchboard and distribution board layouts and schedules.Complete fault current, disconnection time and discrimination studies.Ensure designs comply with BS 7671, IEC (phone number removed), EN (phone number removed) and relevant UK/EU directives.Carry out peer reviews to ensure designs are compliant, practical and maintainable.Work closely with mechanical, controls, manufacturing, project management and clients.Support procurement and ..... full job details .....
