Electrical Design Engineer

The Opportunity: We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer on behalf of a bespoke electrical and mechanical engineering company who manage the complete mechanical engineering process including design, manufacture and commissioning. They mainly work within Water Utilities. They have a client base which boasts some of the biggest names in the engineering sector. Mainly working within the Waste Water and Clean Water industries they provide a range of services including surveying through to design, fabrication, installation and implementation. The Position: The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of electrical systems that support wastewater and wastewater treatment infrastructure. This role plays a key part in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of treatment plants, pumping stations, and associated assets. The engineer will produce high-quality, detailed electrical designs, including power distribution, control systems and instrumentation layouts, while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical and process requirements. Designs must meet relevant industry standards, client specifications and regulatory requirements specific to the water sector.
