Electrical Design Engineer Location: Crawley, West Sussex Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 + Benefits Sector: Building Services / MEP Design Consultancy Employment Type: Permanent The Opportunity We are working with an established MEP design consultancy based in Crawley who are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing design team. The consultancy works across a range of residential and commercial developments, providing complete building services design solutions from initial concept through to detailed design and construction. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer who enjoys being involved in projects from the early design stages and wants to take ownership of delivering technically sound, coordinated electrical designs. The Role As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing full electrical building services designs across a variety of residential and commercial projects. Your responsibilities will include: Producing electrical designs from concept through to detailed design and construction stages. Developing electrical layouts, schematics and technical drawings. Carrying out electrical load assessments and calculations. Designing lighting and emergency lighting systems. Designing small power and general power distribution systems.
