The company specialises in bespoke control panel solutions across multiple sectors, with particular expertise in conveyor-based systems.Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a strong Electrical Design Engineer with EPLAN experience who can also take ownership of PLC programming, installation, or commissioning duties, making this a true dual-role opportunity.About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded engineer who enjoys combining detailed electrical design work with hands-on automation and project delivery.The successful candidate will play a key role in designing bespoke control panels using EPLAN while also supporting programming, installation, and commissioning activities across various customer sites.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Design (Primary Focus)Produce detailed electrical schematics using EPLANDesign bespoke control panels for conveyor and automation systemsDevelop panel layouts, wiring diagrams, cable schedules and BOMsEnsure designs comply with relevant UK and industry standardsLiaise with workshop and site teams to support build and implementationSecondary Responsibilities (Automation / Site Work)Program and develop PLC software (Siemens TIA Portal desirable)SCADA and HMI ..... full job details .....
