Are you based in or around Corby?We are supporting TATA Steel with a permanent opportunity for an Electrical Craft Team Member to join their Corby works. Corby works are undergoing substantial investment and development to drive the organisation''s mission of being a sustainable steel provider. The successful applicant will be a time served Electrician who has worked in heavy industry, carrying out maintenance craft work. The successful applicant will be a time served electrician with experience in a Heavy Industrial environment and in a maintenance capacity. Role: Electrician (Electrical Craft) Location: TATA Steel, Weldon Rd, Corby NN17 5UARate: £36,779 - £37,586 (£31,982 basic plus 15% shift allowance, rising to £32,684 plus 15% shift allowance after probation)Shifts: Rotating pattern of days, lates and nights Mon-Fri. Start: ASAP but pending the successful result of a medical assessment. (This does include a drug and alcohol test)Responsibilities:Ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems across the plantPerforming planned and reactive maintenance to minimize downtimeTroubleshooting relay control circuits, AC/DC motors, and various types of drivesConducting basic PLC fault finding on Siemens S, and 1500 systemsReading and interpreting electrical drawings and working with computerized maintenance management systems (MMS)Contributing to plant reliability and efficiency ..... full job details .....
